A Welcoming Message From the Rev. Christopher Belle
I have been with St. Joseph of Nazareth for nearly nine years now. As I consider the changes we have gone through and some of the challenges we are facing, I am reminded of something my mother taught me: “If you don’t have a horse, ride a cow!”
I choose to believe this pearl of wisdom was a summons to be resourceful, to do the best you can in a given situation. Such an attitude helps one to see opportunities rather than obstacles.
We at St. Joseph of Nazareth recently took the opportunity to rethink who we are, why we are here and what we are about. The process took some work, but it was revealing, enlightening and, as it turns out, unifying. We left the discussions with a renewed sense of purpose and a better understanding of who we are.
I am excited to see what the future holds. I hope that you will come and visit us.
