Greetings everyone,
It has been a busy few weeks at St. Joseph's. We have had a baptism, a confirmation service with Bishop Barry Clarke, and a Family Service. Last Saturday, we held our Garage Sale which turned into a great day. You will see in the bulletin that we raised a good amount. More than that though, with the sunshine, it was a day of warmth, fellowship, and fun.
We have been asking over the past few weeks for items to allow us to create a "Crib Corner" in the church hall. Thanks to much vigilance and the generosity of our members, we now have all we need to allow the 3s and unders to be cared for during the Sunday service. Special thanks to Linda and Richard Bridgeman, Susan Mathai, and Beverley and Robert Millar.
The "A Life Worth Living Course" ends this evening, May 16. It has been a wonderful blessing to all who attended and gave us all a glimpse of what a church really is...a group of people seeking the Lord, learning, praying, supporting one another, and sharing. Special thanks to Ann and Paul Yaxley for leading the course and all the preparation they had to do. Each week, we shared a Potluck Supper that was worth all the extra calories!
That's about it for this week.
Instead of looking for blessings this week...let's try bring one to someone else. Then we will all be blest.
May everyone enjoy a blessed week.

Our History
In 1965, we began to serve the community of Brossard and its environs, as a "grass roots" faith group in the home of Allan and Connie Bridgeman. We believe that the Holy Bible is God's inspired word and that it is the ultimate source of guidance and authority.
In the present day, St Joseph provides new members with a family size church and a functioning Sunday School and Music Ministry. Having said this we are constantly looking for ways to update the building and grow the church. If you are interested in finding your first church family or a new group of people to worship with, we welcome you with open arms. Please join us any Sunday at 10:00 A.M.. See the contact page for a map and number to phone. We promise we will get back to you!
